You are integral to the mission of this school and we’re grateful you have entrusted your child to us during their high school years. As we work together in creating faithful disciples of Jesus Christ it is important that we support each other in our roles.
In an attempt to be "green" we now have posted the report cards to family access. There is a new tab in the family access screen, appropriately named "report cards".
While in Skyward Family Access, families click on the report card tab which opens up a screen with Quarter 1 report card grades through 10/29/09 appearing. Highlight the report card to view and then click on the open button to view the report card. Families must have adobe acrobat reader installed on their computers at home to do this.
This is different than what families see in the grade book, because the quarter 1 GPA, and cumulative GPA are listed on the bottom of the report card. We have gone to this method of providing report cards to reduce costs and to minimize the impact we are having on the environment. If you have questions about this or are unable to print a copy of this, please contact Mrs. Draminski at 267-2105.
The pages under this section have pertinent information so you are up to date on what is happening at Lansing Catholic. Whether it be starting a family discussion based on what you find in the Skyward Family Access program, a teacher’s class web-site, an article in the Parent Update, or possibilities for Christian service projects use this information to stay informed and involved in the life of your high schooler!

You can also stay connected with other parents, too. On most first Wednesdaysof the month we have a regular parent meeting from 7-9 p.m. in the cafeteria. The night begins with prayer and a special topic and then each grade level meets with the class moderator to plan activities or to discuss issues relevant to the class. There are a few months where, due to other events we want parents involved in, we do not host a parent meeting. This year’s dates and topics are:
- September 2nd
Family Access, Parent Group info/networking
- October 7th & 8th
Student-led Conferences (4:30-8pm)
October 11th
Family grade level BBQ (4-5pm)

Talking with other parents who have had older children come through Lansing Catholic is another great way to learn about the best way to do things. You can always contact the class moderator for your child’s class. Part of their role is to keep you regularly informed about life at Lansing Catholic.
Parents are needed as volunteers with class activities but also with other areas of school life. Learn more about how you can volunteer by clicking on the link above.
Thank you for being part of the Lansing Catholic family!
