A desire for teachers and staff at Lansing Catholic High School to bring your students' experience at LCHS to the next level, inside and outside the classroom.
 
Traditionally, Lansing Catholic has coordinated the compilation of a Wish List from faculty and staff for items to enhance student learning, curriculum, and the classroom environment. As we carry on the spirit of the traditional Wish List format, we are working to advance the program and inspire you to give Gifts To Greatness.
 
You are invited to give a gift in partnership with the teachers at Lansing Catholic High School to help students achieve their greatest potential. With Gifts To Greatness, we hope you are motivated to improve the educational landscape through transformational gifts that have a direct impact on students every day in the classroom.

Cricuit Maker 3 Set $450 Office Mrs. Claire Boomer

The Cricuit Maker 3 would be used for everything for miscellaneous events throughout the year. From decorations to events with our partner schools, this Cricuit would get great use. 

Custom Pop-up Tents - Qty: 2 $250 Athletics Mr. Ken Hintze

For use in a multitude of sports, these tents help to keep student-athletes out of the sun/rain and dry. Branded tents will help promote the school.  

Delta Math Intervention $550 Student Services Mrs. Lauren Hintze

Using Delta Math's screening, and intervention resources, we would be able to provide further math support for students. This will help us identify specific areas of deficit, and provide intervention to give students higher confidence in those areas.

Cross-curricular field trip activities with social studies and science exposure. To increase diverse class collaborative opportunities. This would include 3 busses to Grand Rapids at $700 each and admission $7/person.

Having Foosball Tables would allow for foosball tournaments and competitions within houses and Rodzinkas.

Funds for Cultural Activities $3,000 World Languages Mrs. Luz Fell

Learning about other cultures will be an important step on the way to form our students into authentic global citizens. The money would give us the opportunity to plan activities, similar to the Day of the Dead, for the entire school to open and remain aware of cultural differences.

With LCHS bringing most sports on campus, we must run several events at one time. Green Screen with Stand $75 Communication Arts Mrs. Claire Boomer

This green screen would be helpful as we record short videos in less than optimal areas. With a green screen, the background can be replaced to make it easier to focus on the subject matter at hand. 

Gym Scorers Table $12,000 Athletics Mr. Ken Hintze

With the upgrade to the gym, we would like to upgrade our score table. This table has seen better days!

 

Hall of Fame Kiosk $12,000 Athletics Mr. Ken Hintze

With us only having a select amount of floor/trophy space, we need a way to digitally display our athletic history here at Lansing Catholic High School. This touchscreen Kiosk will be able to show off our history, without the clutter that all comes with our winning history.

House Banners $600 Houses Ms. Stacia DeVries

These banners will help with our House Identities. Used for a variety of events throughout the year including House retreats, Cougar Games, etc. 

House Bulletin Board $400 Houses Ms. Ashley Groves

A bulletin board for the house system will allow for a visual display of house updates, team members, events, and house standings for the Great Crux trophy.

House Colored Graduation Cords $2,000 Houses Ms. Ashley Groves

The purchase of House Colored Graduation Cords would allow us to send off each graduate with a token from their house and allow houses to be represented during commencement. Colored cords are a sample idea, this could also be a pin or medal.
