Classroom sets of graphing calculators in every math teacher's classroom will provide all students the opportunity to learn how to effectively use tools to see connections in math. Currently, students share graphing calculators when fellow classmates do not have them. If each class had a set of 10 available, each student would have the chance to engage with the math for themselves. Concepts that rely heavily on calculator usage include, but not limited to, writing linear, quadratic or cubic functions that best fit a set of data in order to make predictions, visualizing transformation of functions, and solving three variable systems of equations with matrices. These graphing calculators would stay in our classrooms and be made at all times for students.
