Our goal is simple: to create a welcoming, joyful environment where younger students can grow in confidence, build friendships, learn from positive role models, and get a glimpse of the values that guide life at Lansing Catholic High School.

What Makes Lansing Catholic Camps Different?

  • A Positive, Values-Based Environment: We believe athletics should form character, not just performance. Our camp culture emphasizes teamwork, effort, respect, and joy in the process.
  • Encouraging Coaches Who Teach More Than Skills: Our coaches and staff understand that they are shaping future Cougars and future young men and women. Instruction is rooted in positivity, discipline, and Christian virtue.
  • Mentorship by High School Student-Athletes: Campers are coached and supported by current LCHS athletes who lead with enthusiasm and serve as living examples of sportsmanship, kindness, and commitment.
  • A Way to Build Early Connections: Campers meet future teammates and classmates, get comfortable on our campus, and begin forming friendships that often last through high school.
  • An Invitation Into Our Community: For families who do not yet attend Lansing Catholic, camps provide a natural, non-intimidating entry point to explore who we are, how we teach, and what we value.

Where Learning and Leadership Meet

One of the greatest strengths of our camps is the involvement of our current student-athletes. They help coach, demonstrate skills, encourage younger campers, and model what it looks like to compete with integrity, effort, and joy.

Campers look up to them. Parents notice them. And our older students grow as leaders by serving the next generation.

This mentorship dynamic is intentional. It is part of how we form students at every level, from our youngest campers to our oldest varsity athletes.

My daughter came home more confident every day — the coaches encouraged her in all the right ways.

My son met the students he’ll attend high school with someday. That sense of belonging means everything.

A Note for Prospective Parents

Many families discover Lansing Catholic for the first time through athletics, but they stay because they see something different in our community. Summer Camps are a small reflection of who we are: a school that invests in children, teaches through example, and believes every young person deserves encouragement, structure, and joy.

If you are exploring school options for your child’s future, these camps are a wonderful place to begin. Let them experience our culture firsthand. Let them meet our coaches, our student-athletes, and the families who make this community special.
