Within Every Leader

Purpose & Role

The Lansing Catholic Board of Trustees, operating as a Board of Specified Jurisdiction, has one primary focus: the ministry of Catholic secondary school education. They oversee the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of every student, ensuring the school remains a place where faith and excellence thrive.

Guided by the Diocese of Lansing, the Board formulates local school policies and strategic plans that align with the mission, nurture students’ gifts, and uphold the long-standing tradition of Catholic education.

Faith Within Every Decision

Stewardship & Mission

The Board works in close collaboration with the President, listening to parents, students, pastors, faculty, staff, alumni, benefactors, and partner schools. Every decision is grounded in prayer, discernment, and a shared vision: to ensure Lansing Catholic continues to form students spiritually, intellectually, and socially.

“Our mission is not to govern alone. It is to nurture what’s within every student.”
